The Joy of Being Together
Abingworth Vineyard Partners with Over The Wall Camp
At Abingworth Vineyard, family and community are at the heart of what we do. We’re delighted to announce a new charitable partnership with Over The Wall Camp, the UK charity helping children and young people living with serious health challenges, and their families, experience the joy of childhood.
Founded by Hollywood actor and philanthropist Paul Newman, Over The Wall Camp provides free residential camps where children and families can make friends, try new things and create lasting memories in a safe, supportive environment.
It’s work that resonates with us as a family-run vineyard. Run by four sisters alongside our parents, Abingworth has always been about bringing people together and making a positive contribution to the community around us.

Supporting Over The Wall Camp
Our partnership will begin with a special fundraising event in November 2026, where Abingworth Vineyard will be the wine sponsor for Over The Wall Camp’s London VIP Reception.
From 2027, we’ll also donate a percentage of profits from our bottle sales to support the charity’s work. Specially labelled bottles will help share the story of Over The Wall Camp and raise awareness of the difference it makes to children and families across the UK.
Chris Stedman, Founder of Abingworth Vineyard, said:
“We are extremely proud to support Over The Wall Camp because of the incredible work they do for young people and families. What they achieve is inspiring, helping families to find relief and respite through their residential camps and experiences. We recognise the value of family at Abingworth, and we are delighted to be able to continue supporting those who need it most through Over The Wall Camp.”
Creating moments that matter
Over The Wall Camp gives children living with serious health conditions and disabilities the opportunity to build confidence, find a sense of belonging and enjoy adventures alongside others who understand their experiences. Its programmes also give families the chance to connect, share experiences and make memories together.
With its first residential camps at its permanent 17-acre home in Ockbrook taking place in summer 2026, the charity is looking ahead to reaching more children and families in the years to come.
We’re proud to play a part in supporting that ambition. We look forward to working with Over The Wall Camp and helping more children and families experience the fun, friendship and freedom that every childhood should hold.
