Made entirely from Pinot Noir grown on the south-facing slopes of Tumbledown Hill, its copper-pink hue greets the senses with wild strawberry and redcurrant aromas, layered with floral lift, creamy texture, and a subtle savoury note. A soft mineral finish brings freshness and finesse, making it a wine that’s effortlessly versatile.

A Story to savour
The name Hidden Verse draws inspiration from the fable of The Ant and the Grasshopper — celebrating creativity, joy, and the simple pleasures of living in the moment. Throughout the growing season, the grasshopper’s song echoes across the vineyard, reflecting the natural rhythms of West Sussex.
The playful violin-playing grasshopper on the label captures this spirit of artistry and beauty of the place the vines grow — a gentle reminder that wine is as much about experience as it is about taste.
Crafted with Care
Hidden Verse is made with minimal intervention to highlight the purity of its fruit. Grapes are hand-picked, cold-soaked, and gently pressed before fermenting in temperature-controlled stainless steel. Malolactic fermentation adds softness, and winter resting in tank enhances texture and clarity. Bottled in early summer 2025, it retains a lively, fresh character that complements a wide variety of dishes.
